Cathy Bucher graduated from Bay NVC's Committed Practitioners Program in 2006, and became a collaborative trainer with BayNVC soon thereafter. She has been a teacher for twenty years, and has a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis on Special Education. Cathy lives with her sons Max and Nate and her sweetheart David in Davis, CA, where they enjoy learning together through the experience of homeschooling. She is enriched by teaching NVC through workshops and private sessions because it helps her create the kind of world she wants to share with her family. Cathy has attended six of BayNVC’s family camps, was part of the staff for five of them, and is excited to join her buddy Joshua in co-creating a space where young NVC campers are supported in play and learning and in trusting that everyone’s needs matter.

Joshua Hathaway is a dedicated father and partner, devoted to helping people thrive spiritually and with purpose in these challenging times. A 2005 graduate of the BayNVC North American Leadership Program, he recently completed his M.A. in Holistic Counseling at John F. Kennedy University. Joshua has a passion for connecting with youth of all ages, and has been doing so as a teacher and mentor for almost ten years. He has been a psychological counselor, swim, surf, and kayak instructor, white-water guide for adolescents, P.E. teacher and classroom instructor, and a Kung Fu instructor, and has led many camps for youth of all ages. Joshua's commitment to non-violence and innate love of play - and his gift for sharing them infectiously with diverse groups - have served him well in his experience of leading the youth program a half dozen times at the BayNVC Family Camp. In this setting, his needs for connection and community, fun, living interdependence, creativity, and "hamming it up" have been met with abundance. Joshua is eager to play with a new group of compassionate pioneers in that field out beyond ideas of rightdoing and wrongdoing. Cathy and Joshua are the Youth Program Co-coordinators for Family HEART Camp 2010. Lynd Morris is certified by the global Center for Nonviolent Communication. She is a graduate of the 2005 North America NVC Leadership Program and has been a member of the NVC LIFE Program since 2006.
