Family HEART Camp is for parents and children. We welcome both those new to Compassionate Communication and those who are already using it in their lives. Teachers or other people who are not in an active parenting stage who are interested in learning how to work with children in the spirit of Compassionate Communication are also welcome to attend the camp. |

Family HEART Camp includes programs for adults, children, and youth. The daily schedule includes structured programming for parents and children, time together as an entire community, opportunity for empathy in groups or one-on-one, and flexible time for rest and recreation. All formal programs are led by our capable staff, with ample space for participants to share their skills and passions. More specific information on programming is available in the Programs section. Our camp was inspired by the Washington State NVC Family Camp, and two senior members of that camp's staff helped create the fabulous experience of Family HEART Camp 2009. Please visit their web site if you would like to see another example of an NVC-based family camp. |
